A Journey of One Thousand Miles

9 01 2008

“Looking at the king’s mouth, an old man once said, one would think he never sucked at his mother’s breasts”. This is an African proverb which teaches us that when one has risen to a great fortune, many people would think that he has never been in poverty. Yesterday, we opened school at Vision School of Accountancy where I am pursuing Business Administration under Association for Business Executives (ABE).

Daniel performing dramaIt has been hard trying to secure for a school place since when I completed my high school in 2003. I thank god to every vision there is a provision, as the Lord has provided tuition fees through Pastor Lawrence Temfwe Jubilee Centre’s Executive Director and Father Miha Drevensek Mission Press Executive Director; because my parents can’t afford to pay as they are too old and don’t have a source of income.

Education is the leading of souls to what is best and making what is best out of them, is a profound quote. My soul is now at ease with this great privilege of hope that one day I will be called Mr. Educated. I thank you Gibson Kwale ‘the only wise man’, Chilila Kangaji ‘the only good accountant’, Matt and Polly ‘the only understanding couple’ and all the well wishers who earnestly contributed for me to be in school.

May the good Lord remember you and be smiling at you all the days of your life.

Time of Silence

4 01 2008

The end of 2007 has been my time of silence in publishing to my web log. It has been hard trying to secure for my school place so that I attain tertiary education so that I secure my future as soon as possible before I become the Minister or a presidential candidate in 2031.

Nepotism and corruption is all over the country demanding to devour the ambitions of innocent souls in poverty. It is a question of my above suspicion soul that will ghetto birds ever be dying before they even learn how to fly? Like it is common to every other man that those who wish to sing will find a song, God is great beyond imagination for he has been faithful to me; finally I have found a place to study Business Administration under Association for Business Executives (ABE).

2008 is the year of new beginnings and accomplishment. As we read in the bible the seventh year (2007) was a year of man; cancelling of debts, slaves were liberated to leave their masters if they wished so and the land was to remain uncultivated. Now that we are in 2008, it the year of new inauguration and new promises as the Lord will be faithful to us.

All those who have been at the bottom of my success and helped me reach this far, I say within your heart and your dwelling may the special things you do retain to you.

Happy New Year and God Bless!!! Daniel C. Daka
